A change in the schedule…

Due to a scheduling conflict, we are going to have to cancel this weekend’s event at Dancin’ on Main. We are so sorry about this, and have contacted those that had scheduled a session. We look forward to announcing a new Lake City event soon.
The good news is the April 25 event at Wink Pottery in Florence is filling up fast! There are still times available, though, so give us a call at 665-4646 to schedule your session.

The return of Angel Babies!

A few years ago, we introduced our Angel Babies Limited Edition as a fund raiser for a little boy with major medical needs. We were able to raise a little over $1000 in a two day event, and were thrilled. This was the beginning of our future in raising money for charity. I always knew that there was something more that we would be able to do, but never knew how. Recently, we figured out what the next step would be, and this was the birth of the $100 Portrait Project. As we are getting closer to our next event, we wanted to “bring back” our original fund raiser as a part of the next event. So, we are re-introducing the Angel Babies for March 28th at Dancin’ on Main as an option for your $100 Portrait Project session. Just let us know when you set up your appointment if you are going to want the wings for your session.

Thank you Flossip

As many of you know, The Flossip (http://theflossip.com) is where we announced our project. She has been very helpful in getting the word out for us for our early events, too. I went to the site this morning and was SO touched by her post! We created the $100 Portrait Project to make a difference, and are so excited to hear the stories of those that have been touched and helped by the Children’s Miracle Network. We are just happy to be able to help. Thank you, Flossip for drawing more attention to this cause that is so important to us.

Upcoming events…

We have two events for the $100 Portrait Project coming up later this month and in April. March 28 we will be set up at Dancin’ on Main in Lake City from 10:00AM to 1:00PM. On April 25th, we will be set up at Wink Pottery in Florence from 10:00 to 3:00 (we may go later if needed).
These events are how we are raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network. At any of these events, we can photograph families, children, individuals, friends… There really is no limit to what you can do with these sessions.
Remember, for your $100, you will get a FULL RESOLUTION DIGITAL IMAGE!!! This is something that would cost about $7000 if you wanted it from a regular session at Collin M. Smith Portrait Photography! Participate in several events, create a wall collage of portraits, document your baby throughout the first year and each year after… It is an incredible value and an amazing cause. Call 665-4646 to schedule your session at one of these events. Walk-ins will be welcome, too, but knowing you have your own time set aside will help with any waiting.
